The Herrell Family

This week marks the start of our deputation ministry! As I sent out my first prayer letter his week, I thought of watching the Olympic Games this past summer. Before the race began, the runners were tense and nervous. The tension increased as they placed their feet in the blocks and waited perfectly still for the sounding of the gun. For the past six months, our family has been in the starting blocks. We have been tense, nervous, and anxiously awaiting the start of deputation. Chilhowie Baptist Church’s Mission Conference has been the starting gun for us! On Sunday night, we were able to present the burden for Peru with our home church. We had such an incredible night as we shared our burden and in return our church shared their love and appreciation for us. It was a wonderful night for our family. Now, we have came out of the starting blocks and are building up to full steam. We currently have 60 pre-scheduled meetings and are working hard to increase that number daily.
