The trip to Peru left us torn. It was difficult to return to the States, yet it was imperative that we come home to finish our deputation ministry. We truly are enjoying deputation but our hearts long to be in Peru. The Sunday morning service at La Vida Nueva was an emotional time for both Crystal and I. The church started a new bus route that brought in 22 people, there were about 35 first time visitors, at least ten accepted Christ, and Pastor David baptized the first four people inside the sanctuary (normally in River). It again showed me the hunger of the Peruvian people and the urgency to get the Gospel to this land.
Please continue to pray for our family as we raise our funds to get to Peru. We are currently at 30% or near 1/3 of our support level. We pray that God will use us as we travel and present our work and ministry. May He be glorified and may He provide in His time! We desire to be patient and to allow Him to use us here until He puts us in Peru! Thank you for your prayers and kindness toward our family.
